Katherin Mendez
Founder | Mental Wellness Advocate | Community Builder
About Me
I’m Katherin — founder of Wellness on the Blocq, Nevada’s premier mental wellness social club, and currently building a grassroots concierge-style teletherapy practice. My work exists at the intersection of mental wellness, faith, and community, creating spaces for honest conversations about care—individually and collectively.
I speak on building proactive wellness communities, ethical frameworks, and accessible strategies, drawing from lived experience, leadership, and advocacy rooted in my faith and values.
Mental wellness doesn’t live only inside a therapy session. It lives in community, connection, and spaces where people feel seen—grounded in compassion, intention, and faith—even before they ask for help.
My journey didn’t start with a business plan—it started with questions:
How can people access support without feeling lost?
How can wellness integrate into everyday life, even for those already in therapy?
Why is mental health often treated only in crisis?
These questions led me to create spaces that make wellness more accessible, human, and proactive—guided by principles of integrity, compassion, and faith.
I help communities, organizations, and schools build accessible, ethical, and human-centered wellness ecosystems—beyond therapy sessions and into everyday life.
WELLNESS ON THE BLOCQ & BLOCQ BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Wellness on the BlocQ
Available now
Wellness on the BlocQ is a faith-anchored, non-clinical space for connection, learning, and shared experiences. Here, individuals can proactively engage with their mental wellness, build community, and normalize conversations around growth, self-reflection, and care.
Memberships will soon be available, offering members exclusive experiences, resources, and deeper community engagement. These experiences also inform the topics I share in panels, keynotes, workshops, and moderated conversations—helping audiences translate wellness principles, community building, and ethical frameworks into practical strategies for their schools, organizations, or communities.
BlocQ Behavioral Health
Launching 2027
BlocQ Behavioral Health will be a teletherapy practice designed to make mental health care accessible, ethical, and client-centered. It will feature a team of Nevada-based, W2 clinicians, providing high-quality, secure virtual therapy sessions. By managing scheduling, administration, and operational logistics, BlocQ will allow therapists to focus fully on compassionate, evidence-based care.
Note: Wellness on the BlocQ and BlocQ Behavioral Health are separate practices that operate independently. While they may collaborate to support shared goals around mental wellness, each practice maintains its own clinical and operational standards.
